Concept-Art for Adventure Game

I present you the simplest 3d-blocking of a game location. It was necessary to make something like a conceptual atmospheric for an adventure game. This concept art included a quick design of the Main Character, his pet and the environment he should be in. Everything is done in Blender 3D except for the tree assemblies (thanks to my dear colleagues for them).
It's not my personal project. I was trying to reflect the game designers' vision: The Pet had to resemble a griffin, The Protagonist had to be dressed in medieval fantasy clothing.

Traditional concetp art sketching(search for an idea). I was trying to find harmony between the two characters in terms of color and form pdasticity to make them a tandem.

After that, I worked more on the design of the Protagonist. There was something wild and unbridled about him. I decided that the red makeup should dominate.

Next, my task was to form an environment, a suitable environment in which the Hero and the Pet could exist. The basic gameplay design concept was flying islands. To start, I made an atmferic using 3d-blocking, in which I could test the finished 3d charact

Here you can take a closer look at what a rough stage consists of. Enjoy.
